It takes the shape of small, striated cylinder approximately five centimeters in height and is a specialty of the Bordeaux region of France. It can often be found in Parisian ptisseries as well.

Couldn't wait to try this pan, most pans are either silicone or the expensive copper. Crispy on the outside custardy on the inside. I used a recipe that called for buttering and then sugaring the pan, that might have helped with the outside...should have made a row without any coating. Started with a 495 oven for 5 minutes and then dialed it back to 350 for the rest of the cooking. Would have been nice to have a little recommended recipe included.

OMG this is amazing. I've never made Cannele's before and I was afraid Id screw it up. But I was shocked that the first time i used this pan and made them they came out 100% perfect! I considered buying a silicone pan but after watching YouTube videos and researching I realized a real mold is what you need. And this is just as good or the same as individual copper molds. I followed a recipe to the T and these came out as desired, crunchy on the outside with a soft middle and most importantly did not stick to the pan AT ALL! You wont regret this purchase!
