Hands down better than silicon molds. This is a very solid cannele pan w/ a nonstick coating that released my canneles beautifully.

Works MUCH better than the silicone sheets. Best you can get it without spending $$$$ on copper molds.Took one star off due to the manufacturing of individual molds being attached to a large sheet. This creates an issue of food material gathering in the space between the two forms and makes it more difficult to clean. I can predict over time, it will become a little gross in that space.

The pan worked great when I used the butter/beeswax mixture to coat the pan before baking. The cannele's came right out of the pan with no trouble. This is a good buy.
